More than 45 years ago, Carroll Hospital Center was founded by the vision, determination and philanthropy of a select group of community leaders. Today, that spirit lives on in the thousands of neighbors and friends who support our programs year after year.

As a private, non-profit health care facility, our associates, medical staff and volunteers work hard every day to bring the highest quality medical care to the people of Carroll County—and beyond. We could not provide this exceptional level of care—and continue to grow—without the ongoing support of our valued contributors.

Donations are crucial to the hospital’s present and future ability to annually serve more than 15,000 inpatients, 42,000 outpatients, over 50,000 emergency department patients and more than 500 hospice families each year. From the latest in joint replacement and minimally invasive surgery to quality emergency care and a wide variety of educational programs, Carroll Hospital Center’s many achievements are in large part attributable to the generosity and commitment of a community that truly cares for its neighbors.

To ensure that Carroll Hospital Center continues to meet the medical needs of the community, each year we make a commitment to reinvest our net income back into our facilities.
